Hello, Everybody!
Happy Birthday to my youngest grandchild, Amelia Francis Bell, who will visit me at my new apt when she comes again! Amelia will turn 6 on April 5th. Have a Good One, Amelia!
Hey, my move to the apt listed above is complete. My previous home at 4500 Meadowlark Lane is now bare of furniture and all sort of miscellaneous stuff, so to speak; and that home is almost ready for sale. Time will tell how that goes, but I am confident it will go well. Thanks to friend, Robin Vicchy and her real estate firm, Aspen Reality, for handling the sale for me. Thank you, Robin! I really appreciate it!
And while I am thanking Robin, I need to thank my oldest daughter, Anita Marie, who lives 160 miles away in Aurora, Colorado with her mother and my first wife, Dee, for aiding me in moving all that “miscellaneous stuff” of mention above to my new apt and sorting & boxing all the stuff I can’t use but others can use. Boxes of that “stuff” have been given away to the local Goodwill and Clothing Cottage. Without Anita helping me, I do believe I would have been to July making my move. Thank you, Anita and Dee – and to my grandson, London, who helped too!
Also, my good friends, Chris & Rich, deserve lots of credit. I did not ask them, but they volunteered to help me go through my garage which stored lots of “miscellaneous” stuff – including lots of junk that had to be hauled off to the local landfill. Chris & Rich, and a young friend, Ben, hauled various junk to the front of my garage to be hauled off by a local moving outfit called Cowboy Moving and Storage – which also later moved all the furniture I could handle to my apt. Thank you, Chris & Rich – and Ben – and Cowboy Moving and Storage; and I must not forget to thank a lady named Rita for helping to clean the house. Thank you, Rita!
I think that my new apt is going to be wonderful. My new landlord is a lady called Cebee; and so far, we have started well. I have no reason to believe we will not fare well in the long run – however long that will be. Thanks, Cebee!
Perhaps as importantly, however, this is to announce that two final videos offering a Memorial for my Dear Nancy are finally available via my francisbessler.com website. One program is based on our Memorial for Nancy at the local Trinity Lutheran Church on July 11th, 2024 here in Laramie and is labeled NANCY’S MEMORIAL – and a second (and final) one is my “solitary” program I entitled WE’RE ALL DIVINE BEINGS. It’s solitary because I am all alone at various settings in our home commenting about my love of life and why I think and believe the ideal is to embrace it as it is for love of God which is “Life’s Benefactor,” so to speak.
I decided to ask my pc handler, Bold Pixels, to place NANCY’S MEMORIAL right next to our Wedding Ceremony of 4/28/2018 because I think it belongs there. Nancy and I were “wedded” to the idea that All Life Is Divine & Sacred As It Is – and our Wedding program features that idea in a lot of original song.
I must admit I am missing my Dear Nancy – who passed on 11/1/2023 – but I am still “wedded” to the idea we tried to live that All Life Is Sacred As It Is simply because an Infinite God must be Present in all – not outside of us to be reached by some form of adulation. Nancy and I did not “pray to God” for some additional supplements, but we did pray to God to “Thank You For Our Wonderful, Magnificent, Precious Lives!” and we ended our prayer “in the name of our friend, Jesus Christ.” Notice, I did not say “in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.” Why? Because Nancy and I believe that Jesus came to teach that no one needs a “lord” who is Sacred as they are.
But who believes we are sacred as we are? Not many, besides yours truly – Right? I plan to share an article I wrote 4 months after Nancy and I wedded in 2018 about that issue. It’s called ONE WORLD – ONE FAMILY. If you do not want it, let me know. Otherwise, all who are getting this will get that. I plan to share it next month. OK?
Let me leave you with a song I wrote called SON OF GOD – which I believe we all are and I think Jesus did too – based at least partly on Verse 3 of THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS. I’m new at my apt – and it is still a bit messy from things not sorted out just yet – but if you don’t mind a bit of a mess – and your host dressed in a bathrobe or less, feel welcome to come on in.
