HAPPY BIRTHDAYS, Dottie & Anita!
5/23/2020

Hello, Everyone!

Yesterday was Dottie's 83rd; and today is Anita's 50th!
Dottie is Nancy's sister; and Anita is my oldest daughter.

So, Happy Birthdays to Dottie and Anita - and
with that, a song I began in April and just finished today.
It is called NEW WORLD COMING. I started it out of respect
for our world caught within a virus spread that is world wide.
I only wanted to use the idea of a pandemic for a start, however,
simply because in the end, we all die.
So to emphasize how we might die is of little use-
as far as I can see.

All is well. Just planted some sunflower seeds in the back yard.
It does not matter to me if they grow or not,
but I do believe it is worth the effort of doing such.
In the past, I grew lots of sunflowers at my old place
about a mile from where I live now with Nancy.
In fact, in a pictorial that I did in 2014 I call THE STORY OF LOVE,
I included lots of pictures of my old lot - and its flowers.
But I think it is good to keep in mind that one flower
is essentially the same as all flowers; and to pay attention to one
is to pay attention to all. Don't you think?

Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANITA!
And HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, DOTTIE!

Gently,

Francis William Bessler &
Nancy Shaw

P.S.
Come and see our sunflowers later in the year.
I planted them in weed patches just to see how they would fare
in the weeds, but even if they do not grow, something will.
Right?

NEW WORLD COMING!

Note:

Refrain should be sung

while verses should be recited.

Refrain:

There’s a new world coming

for those who are not blind.

There’s a new world coming

for those who open their minds.

There’s a new world coming

for those who realize

that we’re all part

of a Miracle called Life.

It’s good to keep in mind

that our Earth is but a spec

in a Grand Universe.

When death comes unexpectedly,

that should make a sense of death

a little less terse.

If we could travel to the great beyond,

we’d probably find it no better than here.

So, let’s live our lives

on this Great Planet Earth

with Deep Gratitude and Cheer.

Refrain.

I do believe mankind

has always found itself

greater than the birds;

and that is one reason

we have lost our way

in the greater world.

When we act like

we are better than a world

that surrounds,

that leads to a lack of empathy

and illness of mind

does confine and abound.

Refrain.

I also believe it is sad

that we fail to realize

that all must be Divine

simply because an Infinite God

in all must reside.

It cannot be that God

blesses some

and leaves others in a lurch

when, in truth, God must in All

and All must be

GOD’S CHURCH!

Refrain.

Jesus said so long ago

that Heaven is at hand.

That is only because

no matter where we are,

God is leading that band;

but He is not out front

leading for us to follow.

Rather He is Inside of All

and beckoning us to mellow.

Refrain.

Indeed,

Let us all realize

we are but part

of a Wonderful Divine Mystery

and then no matter

how, when, and where we go,

we will leave behind us

a Fantastic History.

Refrain (3)
