NANCY'S MEMORIAL ALMOST READY!
9/22/24

Hello, Family & Friends!

Granted, it's not a big item and is a "little" item, but
since I like little a lot because a little is only part of a GREAT BIG WHOLE,
on this my Dear Stepdaughter, Debbie's, 59th Birthday,
I think it is worthwhile noting that a project mostly produced by
my tech friend, Spencer, and his dear wife, Amanda,
has been completed.  I asked Spencer to record, for what it's worth,
our recent Celebration of my Dear Nancy's life via our Memorial for her
at the local Trinity Lutheran Church on July 11th, 2024.
Spencer was willing to use my camera to record it.
I added before and after titles and some photos of my own -
and, Spencer and Amanda produced a digital file we called NANCY'S MEMORIAL.

Given that Spencer used my rather inferior camera,
some parts are easier to hear than others,
but I sure do Thank Spencer & Amanda for doing the best they could.
Last Thursday, Spencer delivered it to me.
Again, Thank you so much, Spencer & Amanda!  I appreciate it a lot.
Spencer uploaded it to my pc and to the managers of my francisbessler website.
Now, it will be up to that manager, Bold Pixels, to add it to the Video portion of
my website.  I do not know how long that will take,
but I was allowed to add it to an already plentiful supply of Divine Naturist oriented
videos I am supplying to a public that might find them worthy to some degree.

I know it's not much, but, like I say, it is a little -
and a little is a whole lot better than nothing at all.  Right?
I will let you know when Bold Pixels adds it to my website,
but given this is Nancy's lovely daughter, Debbie's, birthday,
I think it is worthwhile to mention it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEBBIE!  and a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARK!
Mark is Nancy's son and he turned 63 on September 17th.

It just so happened that the day of our Memorial for Nancy
was also a month and day Memorial we had for my Dad -
who passed on July 7th, 1966 and whose Memorial
at St. Barbara's Church in Powell, Wyoming
where he lived was July 11th, 1966.
Dad was fond of a little ditty I wrote in late 1965 I called SMALL.
Mom said it brought tears to Dad's eyes when he read it.
Hopefully, Debbie and Mark will find it worth a smile at least -
and if it happens, maybe to you too.
Enjoy it as you can!  Alright?

All My Love,

Gently,

Francis William (Frank, Will) Bessler

SMALL

By

Francis William Bessler

Denver, Colorado

Christmas, 1965

Reach up, reach up

and clutch the clouds.

So say the people today.

Be smart, be bright -

and break away from the crowd

and you'll find the world

on your silver lined plate.

But I want to be small

and not have to reach so high.

I want to be small

and give the world my dime.

I want to be small

and be my father's child;

for only if I'm small

will I be tall.

Be a man, be a giant -

and cut down your foe.

So say the people today.

Shoot them, smash them -

keep them off your toes;

and you will be

master of your own fate.

But I want to be small

and let the sun be my stove.

I want to be small

and enjoy the quiet of a grove.

I want to be small

and not overlook my neighbor's cries;

for only if I'm small,

will I be wise.

Be kind, be yourself -

and cling to my hands.

So does my Lord tell me.

Be truthful, be honest -

and obey my commands

and give of yourself

very generously.

So, I want to be small

and from vain ambition refrain.

I want to be small

and brilliance not feign.

I want to be small,

letting God be my fate;

for only if I'm small,

will I be great.
