Melissa & Jeff are expecting!
8/24/2018

Hello, Everybody!

Forgive me, Family, for partly repeating what I told you all yesterday.  Just ignore my tale below if it is too much.  OK?

Just found out that my youngest daughter at nearly the age of 40 (born: 10/12/1978) will be blessing ole Dad with a grandchild - if all goes well.  Melissa surprised me yesterday by informing me that she and her new boyfriend, Jeff (born: 11/1/1982), are expecting in late March or early April of next year.  They only met in May, but have already decided they are in love and are going forward with blessing their love with a new child.  Melissa told me yesterday that she does not know the gender of the new one because it is only 8 weeks old in her womb.  Actually, she sent me an ultrasound email pic of the new one and made me guess about it.  I told her it looks like a rabbit in a womb.  She laughed and denied that assessment.  So I told her that maybe it is a kitten in a womb.  She laughed again and told me it is human.  Then I asked her if it is hers; and she said "yes." Goes to show, I guess, that this one can't tell the difference between a rabbit in a womb and a human in womb - at least not at only 8 weeks old.

Anyway, it is not often that one can share such good news.  Sure hope it goes well for Mel & Jeff; but it is nice to know that the world is continuing on and that perhaps the best indication of that is the conception and birth of new ones.  Reminds me of a song I wrote several years ago when I just happened to bump into a lady with a newborn at her breast.  What a wonderful thing life is!  I am sure we all agree.  Let me leave you with that song of mention.  I was really walking through a park in Boulder, Colorado, waiting for a friend who was visiting a doctor; and I offer in my song what really happened.  Enjoy it as you wish!  OK?

Be in touch as you wish too!  By the way, Melissa & Jeff live in Georgia where I lived for 20 years prior to my moving to Laramie, Wyoming in 2002 to be nearer to Mom who was living in a nursing home in my home town of Powell, Wyoming.  Mom passed at the age of 96 on 5/16/2004.  Living close, I visited her often; and that was why I moved to Wyoming in the first place.

Bye for now!

Gently,

(A true story from a real walkin the park)

REFRAIN:

Hello,My Love, it’s good to see you.

Hello,My Love, it’s good to be.

Hello,My Love, it’s good to know you.

Hello,My Love, let’s be free.

As I was walking in a park one day,

I passed a walking lady,

holding a bundle to her chest.

Then I peeked in and saw a little baby

feeding oh so gently at her breast.

Refrain.

I asked the walking lady

about the child that she held.

Smiling, she thanked me for my care.

I can’t tell you

the good feeling that I felt,

knowing that life is ours to share.

Refrain.

She told me it is Lilly

when I asked the baby’s name.

Cheering, I told her that it fit.

Then we parted and went our separate ways,

giving me a memory I won’t forget.

Refrain.

Repeat 1st verse – then Refrain(3).
