KEEP IT LIGHT!

Hello, Everyone!

Today marks 3 birthdays for me – my youngest daughter, Melissa, turns 46,

a good friend, Lynn, turns 75,
and our Melodees Senior Choral Director, Mary Jean, here in Laramie, turns 85.
So, it seems a good time to share a song I wrote a few years ago
that I intended on singing at my Dear Nancy’s Memorial
at our local Trinity Lutheran Church on July 11th.
It was supposed to be part of our program,

but when it came time for me to sing it,
I decided the program had already gone long enough with a little bit left to go.
So, I skipped it.  I will feature it below,

partly in celebration of those 3 birthdays I mentioned.

The song is called KEEP IT LIGHT;
and that is what I intend to do with the rest of my life
while still being dedicated to sharing my works and my views about life

through my books and videos, accessible through my websites –
una-bella-vita.com and francisbessler.com.
I will be adding 2 final videos to my francisbessler.com website soon –
both in memory of my Dear Nancy; but after that, no more will be added.
When all is finished, there will be 10 books and 42 video files
available for those who choose to check them out.
I think that is enough.  Don’t you?

What will happen with any this stuff?  I don’t know.
It has been somewhat costly to produce it all –
and it will be costly to maintain and promote it too;
but I will keep on the best I can.
Maybe, nothing will happen with it and I am the only one to enjoy it.
If so, that’s OK.  The joy I had in developing it has been worth it all,
if you know what I mean.
Joy goes on, just like my Dear Nancy goes on – and I will go on after I pass –
just as everone who has died has and all of us who are alive now will.

I will let you know when my final videos have been added.
My videos like my books attempt to provide a Positive Outlook on Life,
but that is according to one person’s view of Life.
I am currently reading my 9th book – KNOWING CHRIST.
Some will agree that I “Know Christ” and others will disagree.
Some will say – that’s not the Christ I know;
and others might say – Yeah, Francis, I think you are right
In a way, I do not write or perform in a video to satisfy someone else.
I do so only to satisfy me in terms of try to present to myself what I believe;
but if that which satisfies me also satisfies someone else, that’s OK.
If not, as I firmly believe, each should find their own way – and their own truths.

With that, I will leave you to my song I did not sing at Nancy’s Memorial –
though I planned to do so.  Enjoy it and my verses as they please you.  Alright?

Once Again, Happy Birthday to Melissa, Lynn, and Mary Jean!
Love You All!  Be in touch!

All My Love,

Francis William (Frank, Will) Bessler

KEEP IT LIGHT

By Francis William Bessler,

Laramie, Wyoming,  5/19/2015

REFRAIN:

Keep it light, my Baby, Keep it light.

Keep it light, my Brother, Keep it light.

Keep it light, my Sister,

my Mother, my Father,

my Lovely Daughter, my Worthy Son,

my Friends, Everyone.

Don't live in fright.

Keep it light.

If there's any advice, I would give,

it would be to keep it light and forgive.

The burden of grief can best be relieved

it you focus on life's - grand majesty.  Refrain.

To keep it light, what do I mean?

You must not be too serious to be free.

Just embrace your wonder and all that you are

and you'll find yourself - one with the stars. Refrain.

To keep it light, be a grateful one.

Just say thanks to Life for all it has done.

Focus on all of Creation to know Jubilation;

and your life will be - one of Celebration.  Refrain.

To keep it light, it's easy, my friend.

Just be kind as you can and you cannot offend.

Everyone you will be doing a wonderful deed.

Keeping it light simply makes - for liberty.  Refrain (2).

ENDING:

Yes, Everyone, Listen to me.

Don't live in fright.  Keep it light.
