An Offering:THE STORY OF LOVE
4/22/2020
Hello, Everyone!
Brother Paul turns 82 today. Birthdays always remind me
that not only one who has a birthday is getting older,
but we all are; but Happy Birthday to Brother Paul!
Beside wishing Paul a Happy One,
I would like to offer a copy of a Pictorial of sorts
to everyone who is getting this - family and friends.
Ask and you will receive. OK?
I don't promise my pictorial is more than fair -
simply because I took most of the pictures -
and I can assure you I am no professional.
My friends & family pictorial spans from 2009-2014.
The Pictorial of mention is partly pictorial and
partly a Celebration of Life as I see it.
That is to say, of course, that interest in such must be limited.
There are not a lot of us who believe that we are here on Earth
to make Heaven Here - and not delay it to some other life
or some other place. Those who believe in delay will probably
not like my combo of a Personal Pictorial and Celebration of Life,
but I am going to offer it to any of you who might be interested.
What is it! It is a DVD album of 3 programs that dub an
audio cassette program I did in the 80s with a few friends
in Atlanta, Georgia. I called my team by the name of
"The Natural Virtue Players of Georgia" - just to give us a name.
I had to pay for the services of those other 6 -
and that is why it took us over 9 years to complete this series.
I was by profession a computer programmer/analyst -
and it took a lot of my working overtime to pay
for the project; but in the end, it was completed in 1992 -
though we started it in 1983.
I called our program MASTER OF YOUR OWN FATE -
and it was essentially a combo of personal commentary
and original song. The theme of it is that God is IN Everything
and not a Judge outside of us to judge us at some destined time.
I comment about the way we have looked at life -
believing only in a Heaven Afterwards - and we sing
a number of songs that express the idea that Heaven is
supposed to be Here.
To make a long story short - or at least shorter -
I invite you to go to Amazon.com, put in my name -
Francis Bessler - in the search bar
and then proceed to an item called THE STORY OF LOVE.
Read the description - and then if you want to take a chance
on said program, let me know. For those of family and friends,
Nancy and I are committed to sharing a copy of that program
that is being listed at $18 - mostly for production costs.
It is best that you read my description, however,
in order to know what you will be receiving. OK?
If - and only if - you think my (our) program would be
worth your while, then Ask and You Will Receive.
I will leave it at that.
Let me finish this Happy Birthday to Paul & Melania -
who will turn 50 on April 24th if I am not mistaken -
with a song I wrote a few years back called
ODE TO THE WIND. I was hoping to camcord an event
on a hill outside of Laramie on that day, but found
that the wind was too much for that. So I took out a pad
from the car and wrote the following song.
Enjoy it as you can - and wish. OK?
Thanks!
Be in touch! And once again,
HAPPY BIRTHDAYS TO PAUL & MELANIA!
Gently,
Nancy Shaw - wife -
and Francis William Bessler - husband
As Nancy would say -
LOVE TO YOU ALL!
ODE TO THE WIND

REFRAIN:
Clouds are in my eyes.
The wind is in my face.
The birds are flying high.
They seem so full of grace.
The wind is my friend.
It blows the clouds around.
I’m wondering as I stand -
where tomorrow I’ll be found.
Oh, what is the mystery of life?
Won’t you tell me what it is?
They tell me the secrets of the night
are found just blowing in the wind.
I’m wondering as I stand upon this hill
what are the secrets of my soul?
I think I’ll keep going on until
the wind tells me what I want to know.
Refrain.
As I stand here beneath the stars above,
my mind just keeps on asking why.
I know that the answers I can love
are found in the wind and the sky.
I’m hoping as the wind blows so free,
it will tell me what I want to know.
And I think that it’s telling me
my friend, just be grateful for the show.
Refrain.
I ask my friend, the wind, where is God;
and it tells me to look all around.
It tells me to look there because
there’s no place where God can’t be found.
Refrain (2).
