HAPPY 2021! Want a copy of my book of songs?
1/7/2021

Hello, Everyone!

Do you want a copy? Yes or No?

I am talking about my book SONGS BY A DIVINE NATURIST CHRISTIAN.
My plan is to give away some copies of that one by the end of the month.
For what it's worth, my book contains 205 songs/poems that I have
written and kept in life. I have written a good number, too,
that I have not kept - for one reason or another. Only the ones I have kept
are in my book - needless to say.

Why the end of the month? Well, my Dad was born on 1/31/1907.
He passed on 7/7/1966 too, but I try to remember him on both dates.
So, my plan is to use that date to share some copies of my next book.
I have published 10 books now - and have shared some of the first 7
with a few of you - and some local bystanders too.
Number 8 is one I call SONGS BY A DIVINE NATURIST CHRISTIAN.
I will supply a bit of a song called Almost Done below -
and if you are curious about my thinking to calculate if you want a copy
of this book, well, check out my song below and gauge by that. OK?

I have a list pretty much in ready form - and if you are one of those,
you will receive my book - unless you say NO.
If you are on my list and you say NO, then I will remove you from my list.
Alright? If you are not on my list and you say YES, then I will add you.
The choice is yours? If you want a copy, be sure I have your mailing address;
and feel welcome to add another with their address if you think
my work will be appealing to them.

Don't know about you, but even with having to continue to deal with a pandemic,
I am looking forward to another wonderful year. I must say that I am one of
the lucky ones in life that finds one year pretty much the same as all others.
There are disappointments in every year, of course, but I try not to
gaze upon that aspect of life. I will face some disappointments for sure,
but the way I look at it, try to enjoy the wonder of the moment and
disappointments may happen, but they will never rule.

With that, I gonna let you go. I will leave you with my song - Almost Done.
Make of it what you will. OK?

Thanks!

Be in touch as you wish! Have a Wonderful Year! We will!

Gently,

ALMOST DONE!

By

Francis William Bessler

Almost done, yes, I'm almost done.

I've been almost done since I was one.

As it has been for me, it's also true for you.

You've been almost done since you were two.

We come into life already on the run.

That's why we're almost done from the age of one.

Now I'm not saying I've nothing left to do.

I have a whole life ahead of me before I'm through.

But that has always been the case, no matter my age.

At the age of seven, I may have already been a sage.

That's because I am only continuing from a past end;

and as I ended before, I was born again.

But that is true for everyone, not just for me.

We are all rooted in our past for a future to see.

We do not just begin with a given birth.

We only continue from our last phase on Earth;

and what I was before, I will become again -

at least until I choose a different blend.

I am never certain, though, of what a future holds.

Civilization determines how much I can be bold.

But it is also true that civilization I can impact

by leading my life according to a given tract.

You can look at me and judge me to be a fool;

or you can consider yourself a student in my school.

Or I can choose to follow you, even if I disagree

and become in act, a whole new pedigree.

It is unlikely, however, that any will bend.

It's more likely this beginning will be the next end.

That's because it's difficult for each of us to change;

and as we were before, we will likely become again.

Change is possible, though, I think, as Jesus knew.

As long as we can live, we can change a view.

We do not have to continue as we were before.

We can change to bargain at another store.

We do not have to keep buying the same ole thing;

but what we buy is what our lives will bring.

If we want kindness from others, we must be kind

regardless of what others do who may be blind.

To follow their lead and become as them

if hatred is their way, theirs will become our sin.

So, if I may, let me encourage you

to live your life according to a kindness view.

Though I'm almost done with any given life,

I am never done having to be kind.

For, my friend, kindness is its own reward

just as anger leads to always being on guard.

If I am always on guard, I will never be free.

So, be free, my friend - and be kind with me.

Yes, if I'm always on guard, I will never be free.

So, be free, my friend, and be kind with me.
