HAPPY 83RD (3RD) TO BROTHER NICK!

11/2/2019

Hello, Family!

I know Brother Nick passed away on 12/7/2016,
but I try to pay attention to siblings birthdays
even if they are gone.

So, Happy 83rd to Nick - dating from his Earth birthday of 11/2/36 -
and Happy 3rd to Nick - in his next location - wherever that is.
I am still in this life and so I am proceeding like I am,
soon to become 78, but it is good to know that I will be "starting over"
when I die just like Nick "started over" when he died on 12/7/2016.
How about that! I look at death as wonderful as I look at life as wonderful - simply because with death, we are, as it were, "born again."
Wow - what a wonderful thought! Don't you agree?

Gotta go! I won't be "born again" this afternoon,
but I will be playing a part in our current Unexpected Company play
called A GHOST'S TALE. I will be playing a bit part,
but I intend to make it fun - as we in the cast always do.
Who cares if we fumble around with a part?
If we don't stumble by acting like we have forgotten something,
no one knows we fumbled. Neat, huh?

My part is a Wilhelm Solheim, retired botany professor of the
University of Wyoming. Early this year, I played the part of a
early pioneer of Laramie called Charles Hutton; and in September,
I played the part of one called Johnny, the Fox, crime boss of Chicago.
I guess you could say I have been busy this year playing like
I am someone else, but my greatest role has been of Francis William
because that is who I am - and who I am supposed to be.
I think I do that one the best, know what I mean?

I know I will not be able to remember all the November birthdays,
and there are quite a few, including my Sister, Rita, who will turn 87
on Nov 23rd and my lovely wife, Nancy, who will turn 87 just one
day earlier, Nov 22nd. I will try to send birthday cards to some others,
but let me wish all who have birthdays in Nov a Happy One!
OK?

Thanks!

Gently,

Francis William Bessler
and wife, Nancy Shaw
