WITH A SONG IN MY HEART! - Soon!
6/23/2019
Hello, Everyone!
To my "few fans" in this world (LOL), this is to announce I am intending to compile a new book soon that I intend to call by the title of the last song
I have written - and will probably write - called WITH A SONG IN MY HEART!
That song was written intentionally to complete my last book that some of you
may have read called IT'S A NEW DAY. So since I will be continuing
from a last book, why not start a new book with an ending, as it were,
of a previous book? Accordingly, that is why my next book will be entitled
WITH A SONG IN MY HEART.
I feel like I have been Extremely Privileged in life to have been able to
learn by writing. Almost all I have written has been to use writing as a
"tool to learn." In the past several years, due to support and encouragement
of my wife, Nancy Shaw, I have compiled 9 books, though the 9th
was an enhancement of a 4th book and so was really an update of that one
and not a "new book" as such. The 4th book was (or is) a compilation of
all my songs (204 by count), but was written before I wrote 7 additional songs.
Last year, I decided to add the 7 new songs to the 4th book,
but was prevented by copyright rules to do that. So I had to do a new book
and call it by a different name - though the new book was mostly
an old book modified to include 7 new songs. That "new" book I entitled
SONGS BY A DIVINE NATURIST CHRISTIAN - and the final "new" song
written in 2017 is called WITH A SONG IN MY HEART.
Anyway, I decided to compile another book because recently in
reacting to a suicide in the family, I came upon an article I wrote in 2011
called STILL ALIVE. That one is mostly about our surviving this life
to begin a new one in a next life - but simply to continue a past life.
I do not take the dim view of suicide that I did earlier in life because
I think people who intentionally commit suicide do so in order to
leave one life behind because of trappings that may have been felt
in a past life to start anew without those trappings.
Be that as it may, because of Frank's suicide, I went looking for an
article of the past that I had not included in any of my previous
compilations of books and found one called STILL ALIVE. I commented
to Nancy that I was sorry I had not included that one in a past book,
but then as soon as the words were out of my mouth, it occurred to me
that I could compile another book and include that article.
No need to be sorry - just compile another book and include STILL ALIVE.
Why not?
So, that is what I am going to do. I am going to look back on my life
and find essays I had written in the past to deal with issues of the past
and present them in a current book, mixing essays with past songs.
After all, that is really all my current books do - collect from past writings
and make them into books. And since all my writings are really
"tools of learning" for me, even if no one is interested in a final compilation,
I will be interested because I was the student of the writings.
In reading a book of mine, all I am doing is "relearning" past lessons.
How about that? Once a student, Always a student!
When will I finish WITH A SONG IN MY HEART? I don't know,
but I will begin it soon - and probably finish it by end of year.
I must say I am looking forward to reviewing my past writings
and selecting from those "new articles" and presenting them
like I have just written them. That is one of the great benefits
of putting your thoughts in writing. You can always retread, as it were,
and "resurrect" old thoughts. When you live your life like
you are always a student, old thoughts can be wonderful;
and I know that I will become a student again in just relearning old truths -
such as it is.
Let me end this by featuring the song I wrote to end the last one -
WITH A SONG IN MY HEART. Stay tuned. Let us just say I will be
working at it as I work to compile a brand new book with lots of
"old ideas." Wish me luck. OK? How long will it be? Again,
I don't know; but short, medium, or long, it will be worth my while -
and hopefully yours.
Thanks!
Loving You All!
Gently,
Francis William Bessler

writings website - www.una-bella-vita.com. I need to work at
promoting those works too - even as I write anew, know what I mean?
If you have any ideas, do let me know. Alright?
That includes my website handlers - Crile and Laora.
Lots to do yet in this life, Crile & Laora.
Let us meet soon to do that.

REFRAIN:
With a song in my heart,
I want to be part
of this wonderful, wonderful day.
With a song in my heart,
it's a nice way to start
as I wander along my way.
Hey, My Friends, I'm still learnin
as I wander upon this Earth.
Hey, My Friends, I'm still yearnin
for truth
as if yesterday was my birth.
Refrain.
Oh, what a delight I'm living
knowing that all is Divine.
Oh, what wonders I'm musing
and loving
embracing the Heaven that is mine.
Refrain.
Let me look at life like ole David,
standing there with nothing on
Believing that life is splendid
as it is
and as gracious as a new born fawn.
Refrain.
Listen, Dear One, you're the only you
as I am the only me.
Let us proceed with a different view
than before
Celebrating Life's Mystery.
Refrain.
ENDING REFRAIN:
With a song in my heart,
I want to be part
of this wonderful, wonderful day.
With a song in my heart,
it's a nice way to start
as I wander along my way.
Yes - with a song in my heart.
it's a nice way to start
- and continue and end -
as I wander along my way -
as I wander along my way.
