Hello, Everyone!
Hey, Fellow Kamalites, Be Not Disheartened that Kamala
(and Tim) did not win the Presidency this time.
As I see it, a lot of us voted for her – probably 47 % or so.
The Trumpites won a little more – probably 52 or 53 % or so;
but hold on to your hats. There will come another chance
for a lady to win – be it a Kamala or Sue or Joan or whoever.
Time marches on; and eventually some lady will win.
Quite frankly, Kamala should have won this time,
but the cards were decked against her – especially in terms
of some minority of Americans still holding on to the
idea that man must rule because “women are not worthy
of the life,” as St. Peter chided in the 114th verse of
THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS. Let’s face it, Peter and
most men have believed for centuries that “women are not
worthy of the life” or at least, “not worthy to rule.”
But like I argued, Don’t Be Disheartened - those of us
who do not believe that St. Peter had it right.
I can hear some shouting – How can you dare claim
that St. Peter believed that “women are not worthy
of the life”? Where is your proof of that?
I believe it mostly because history and tradition
has acted accordingly. That is the main proof
that it is likely St. Peter believed it. I think St. Peter
had a wife – and maybe children – but I am unaware
he thought they needed to be acknowledged. If
St. Peter had a wife, why didn’t he make a big deal of it
and stand on a mountain and praise her – and his
children? Again, I may be wrong, but where is the
evidence he thought more of his wife than he did?
If you know of such “evidence,” kindly let me know
and let me know your source. OK?
I am only arguing that we Kamalites should not be
dismayed because the Peters of the world
chose a man over a woman to lead us this time.
It has been so since time began, so to speak.
Men have been in control since Adam was created –
and even back then, women were given 2nd place.
Remember! According to GENESIS,
God created Adam first – and then only
because Adam needed a “helper,”
God took one of Adam’s ribs and formed a helper for him
“He” named “Eve.” From the very beginning, we are
to believe that God, a Male Himself,”
favored man over woman. So, why be surprised
if a Donald must be favored over a Kamala?
It’s written in the wind, so to speak. Right?
Keep in mind, however, that Time Marches On!
At the beginning of the 20th Century, women were not
even allowed to vote in America. Now, they can vote –
and we can vote for them. Maybe by 2028 or 2032,
they can show St. Peter and all of us men that, indeed,
“women are worthy of the life” too. Suppose?
Have a Good One!
Gently,
Francis William (Frank, Will) Bessler
