Everyone Belongs To God

Hello, Everyone!
Thismorning, I stood before our mirror in our bathroom and told my lovely wife,Nancy, that there before us was “the Lord’s handsome guy.” I was somewhat kidding, but only in terms ofexpression. Replace “Lord” with “God”and the statement is completely true. Ofcourse, I could have referred to Nancy as “the Lord’s handsome gal” too,meaning “God’s handsome gal.”
Eitherway, the notion is true.
Andwhat is that notion? It is simplythat everything and everyone belongs to God. Some think of God as “Lord,” however, and personally,I believe that is where they have it all wrong. I do not think that “God” is a “Lord” – simply because I see God as onlya “Source” – not a “Judge.” Some needGod to be a Judge. I do not. I am satisfied with being one of many of God’screations – or manifestations.
Somethink that they have to do something in order to “belong” to God – as if simplybeing what they are is not enough. If I dosuch and such, “The Lord God” will approve of me and I will find salvation. I think that is NONSENSE in capitalletters. I did not make myself. Perhaps if I did, I would need to “beapproved” by someone or something else;but I did not make myself. God did – andis. Or so I believe.
Imust admit that I used to believe that I had to do something to be approved byGod, but in time, I came to realize that it makes no sense that such istrue. The key, I think, is to realizethat God has to be “Infinite” – simply because reality must be “infinite” interms of “without end.” If something iswithout end, how can there be any division within it? That merely translates to God being thatinfinite reality without end and without division – and within that wonderful existence,there is me – and you and everyone and everything. It is as simple as that.
Andisn’t it wonderful? I Belong! It is what every being wants – to belong. In merely belonging, I am complete. I do not have to do anything to prove Ibelong. I simply belong by merelybeing. If everyone believed that, allstrife would end. I am God’s handsomeguy. You are God’s handsome gal. That’s it! If you believe it, your life is complete. You do not need to find Heaven someplace else. You have it Here – and you have it Now!
Quitefrankly, I think that is what Jesus believed too, though many of his admirerstook him to mean something else by his notion that “Heaven is at hand.” Many take that to mean something elseother than Heaven is here. I guess theytake it to mean Heaven is near. At hand, in that sense, simply means “near” – not present. As a Divine Naturist Christian (self-named),I believe “at hand” means “now” and notjust “near,” but as the old saying goes – to each, his or her own.
