Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!
4/12/24

Hello, Everyone!

We all have Moms and Dads.
So I think it appropriate to share some thoughts
I would share with my Mom & Dad
on my departed Mom's would be 116th birthday
and my Departed Mom & Dad's 96th Wedding Anniversary.
Dad passed from an auto/pedestrian accident at age 59 in 1966.
Mom passed from complications of old age at age 96 in 2004.

If they were here, I would chat about my belief
that we are all Divine - tho that was not their belief when they lived.
When I was 22 - and I am now 82 - Dad & I discussed that notion
and he said he was coming to believe that too.
He told me that I would have a hard time convincing anyone of that,
but if it meant anything to me, you have my blessing to try.

And so try I have been doing.
One of my 10 books is one called IT'S A NEW DAY
and in that book I supplied an article called
WE'RE ALL DIVINE BEINGS.
For what it's worth, I will share that article below.
Much of my arguments for all being Divine
are sustained from verses of
the Gospels of Thomas & Mary Magdalene

which were banned in the 4th Century upon the process of
the canonization of the BIBLE – probably due to those gospels
arguing for the Divine Equality of All.

I am sure Mom & Dad are smiling from wherever they are
as I continue to argue for that idea – that all are equally Divine.
Here it is! Proceed if you wish - and comment as you wish too.
Wouldn't it be Wonderful if we all believed we are all Divine
and acted like it for reasons stated below?

Love You All!
Thanks to Mom & Dad for all the love they shared with me
when they were here.

Gently,

WE'RE
ALL DIVINE BEINGS

Note:
I'd like to dedicate this one to two who have birthdays this month. My oldest daughter, Anita, turns 47 on May 23rd; and Dottie - sister to friend, Nancy, turns 80 on May 22nd. Happy Birthday to both.

Do you believe it? Do you believe that we are all Divine Beings? I do; but let me start with the refrain of a song I am writing about that:
We're all Divine Beings - you and I.
We're all Divine Beings - and that's no lie.
We're all Divine Beings -
and that should be our pride
because within Divinity, we all reside.

I will try to compose all of that song by the time I finish with this article - and maybe feature a finished composition at the end; but for a start, I believe we are all Divine Beings because, as I say in that last line of my new song, "within Divinity, we all reside." It is as simple as that - that is, for me.

So, let us analyze it. Are we all Divine? What is "Divine"? What is "Divinity"? As I see it - and imagine it, perhaps - Divinity is really only another word for "Infinity." Why do I say that? Because it seems to me reasonable that whatever is "Infinity," the same must be true for "Divinity." To realize the definition of "Divinity," then, all we have to do is analyze "Infinity." The reason for Divinity and Infinity being equal is that where one is, the other must be. If something - either virtually or actually - essentially co-exists with another and occupies the same space, so to speak, then they must be equal. Accordingly, to define one is to also define the other. Right?

What is "Infinity," then? Let us put on our "thinking caps," as my Dad used to say when he wanted his kids to think about some issue. With my "thinking cap" on, then, how should I think of "Infinity"? For a beginning, the term suggests "without end" or "without limits." If something is infinite, there can be no beginning, nor an end to it. Can you imagine different? Can you imagine that an Infinity can have an end? If so, you have a very different "thinking cap" on than I do.

For what it's worth, it is because of having analyzed the essential definition of "Infinity" that I have long realized that God cannot possibly be a person. Realistically, a "person," must be "limited" - at least as outside of a stated confines. By definition, Infinity cannot be limited. Accordingly, Infinity - or God - cannot be a person since by definition, a person is limited to some given confines.

So what? Well, I can be sure that any entity or "person" outside of our humanity that supposedly has spoken to one of us cannot be "God." An entity claiming to be God can well have spoken to one of us - like to a Moses or a Mohammed - but whatever that entity was or is, it could not have been God - at least not that Infinity that many of us think of as "God."

But that is another matter. I have written a lot about that in my life. If interested, you can check out past writings via my website and various printed works - referenced at the end; but this is not about that. This is about all of us and all of everything being Divine. The reason I like to pursue this issue is that it simplifies reality for me; and the simpler reality is for me, the better I like it. Why complicate life - if such complication can be avoided?

To continue, am I a being within that which I am calling "Infinity"? Of course! How could I not be? Accordingly, if I am within that which we call "Infinity" - and since we have determined that "Infinity" is also "Divinity" - and Infinity and/or Divinity must be Everywhere, including in each of us - then presto, I am Divine. That means that I do not have to "reach toward" something else that I consider Divine. I am already Divine. How simple can it be? Now, doesn't that take all of the "complication" out of life? No one can argue that I have to do this or that to please some Divine One outside of me because being Divine, I know that I have already reached my goal in life to become one with a Divine Reality. How about that? Like I say, I like "simple," and that really makes life "simple" for me.

Now, let me get on with completing the little "ditty" with which I began.

We're All Divine Beings

REFRAIN:
We're all Divine Beings - you and I.
We're all Divine Beings - and that's no lie.
We're all Divine Beings -
and that should be our pride
because within Divinity, we all reside.

Life is a mystery - there is no doubt of that;
but everything's Divine; and that's a simple fact.
There is no place where God can't be;
and that makes us all members of a Divine Family.
Refrain.

There can be no sin - anywhere in life -
unless we create it by living in strife.
Sin is that which we create when we fail to know
that each of us is Divine from head to toe.
Refrain.

Heaven is only living - like everything's Divine,
regardless of temperament, regardless of mind.
Hold your head up high - and with life, have fun.
You're a daughter - or a son - of the Living One.
Refrain.

Look out at life and know it's all the same.
If God's in all, all should be acclaimed.
To treat anything like it's less than you
is to live in arrogance and outside the truth.
Refrain.

The truth is God's Kingdom is Everywhere
and that should make us all want to care
about each other as we pass through life,
knowing that we're all children of the Light.
Refrain (several times).
