EVERYTHING IS AMAZING!

When I say that I believe that everything is amazing, I really mean to say that "every thing is amazing." That is every single thing in existence. All together, of course, that spells "everything," but who takes anytime at all to consider such a thing?
In fact, I doubt that most people really believe that. I think that most people believe that "every thing can be amazing," including themselves, but that at this time in their experience of life, not so. I think that the traditional idea of Heaven is based on the exact opposite of "every thing is amazing." I think it is based on the idea that some things are amazing, but not all - but given some right course in life, one can "become amazing." It is in that pledge that I can "become amazing" that the traditional notion of Heaven is all about.
Is that not the truth? How many of you get up in the morning and stretch your body and exalt - WOW, AM I EVER AMAZING! That is, WOW, IS MY BODY EVER AMAZING! - not necessarily "me." How many believe that Heaven is Now - that it is only a matter of "Living in the Amazing" that can define Heaven? But if I sense the Amazing Now, I would not have to wait for Heaven later. Would I?
One of the saddest notions that has ever been taught to man, I think, is that we are all born lacking something. We are all alike in that "we lack." In truth, I think we lack nothing because a Divine Source must be in all. That Divine Source - and Divine Breath - is what makes us all amazing; but how many believe it? How many of us are taught such a fantastic truth?
On the other hand, how many of us believe that we must call upon some Amazing Reality to make us amazing sons and daughters of that Reality?
Perhaps the key to know yourself as a "present amazing thing" is to take yourself completely out of all traditions of mankind. Just isolate yourself as if nothing has ever existed before you and that somehow you are all alone. Look at your hand and know that it is amazing. Look at your face and know it is amazing. Look at your belly and know it is amazing. Look at your feet and know they are amazing.
I really believe it is as simple as that - or should be. Never mind all the conjecture that you are not meant to be and that somehow you are a "mistake." Don't follow an old adage that has it - all fall short of the glory of God - because it is simply not true. It is that notion that we are somehow less than we should be that has allowed many among us to sense no self meaning and to go off on some trail that claims that if we follow such a trail, presto, we will achieve meaning.
When I look at my hand, I do not for one second want to exclaim - Hand, if you do such and such, you will have meaning. When I look at my feet, I do not consider for one second that if my feet were to do such and such, they would have meaning. When I look at any part of me, I do not consider that if that part were somehow different or reacted different, that maybe I might be different too.
Just think about it. Alright, imagine that your hand is more slender or more muscular or more this or more that than it is. Alright, you now have a different hand. Really, could that possibly mean that you have some different worth? Take any part of you and change its form. Will that make you happier? Will that make you worthier?
Now collect all your parts, knowing that each one is "amazing" and realize that as each part is amazing, so is the whole of you - or the whole of me - or the whole of anyone. Then refuse to listen to the past - and to those who have dedicated their lives to insisting that life is a lie or that life is somehow less than what it should be - or that life as it is lacks something and is "not amazing."
But if you do not see yourself and all your parts as amazing, you will not see anyone or anything as amazing either - and then, it's carte blanche. Kill yourself, kill another, why not? If no one is really amazing, why care about yourself or anyone else? On the other hand, see yourself and know yourself as amazing - and everyone and everything - will become the same.
Will there ever be Peace On Earth? Call me an Optimist, but Yes, I think so. I do believe that someday we humans will finally realize that we are no worse and no better than all other creatures simply because we are All Equally Amazing; and what a Wonderful Heaven it will be; but it all begins with one hand and one foot and one eye. It begins with a part and ends with the whole - the whole of each individual and the Whole of The World.
That I Believe! Do you?
