Onward, Brother Nick!
12/8/2016

Hello, Everyone,

Yesterday, Brother Bob called me at around 8:30 in the morning or so and informed me that Brother Nick had passed earlier that day - I guess around 7. It is my understanding that one of Nick's sons was visiting Nick at a hospital in Billings, Montana - where Nick was dealing with numerous ailments - including Lung Cancer. Nick wanted a cup of coffee and Greg - one of Nick's 6 kids - went to fetch it for him. When Greg returned minutes later, Nick had already gone.

Where had he gone? That is the BIG QUESTION, isn't it? We all have our ideas about what happens after death, but my view of it is that it is really only a "little ride" to somewhere else. So, for me, like a rabbit perhaps, Nick just hopped forward to a new adventure. But wherever he went and however he went, he went as himself. That I firmly Believe. If there is Judgment after life - and I do believe there is - it is only having to continue as who you are.

Anyway, for me, yesterday amounted to a GRAND EVENT for Nick. He simply hopped out of his ailing body and into another fare - of some sort. But whatever happened to Nick will happen to me and everyone else in just a matter of time. That is the way I see it. So, my oldest brother, Nick, who just turned 80 last month, in a way, is leading the way for me and all of his younger brothers and older sisters. Where Nick has gone, we will follow - just as where Mom & Dad and Sister, Dorothy, went earlier, Nick is now following.

Thank you, Nick, for being here for a time. I hope being here with me and all the rest of our siblings - 7 in all - was a lovely experience. I do hope I added some smiles to your life in the past - and I hope that you take some of those smiles and happiness with you wherever you have gone. Tell Everyone Hello! I will be coming soon!

ONWARD, BROTHER NICK! HAVE A WONDERFUL "NEXT ADVENTURE!"

Gently,

Your Brother, Sonny
