HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DOROTHY!
1/15/2018
Hi, Everyone!
My sister, Dorothy, would have turned 89 today, if she were here; but she passed quite a long time ago - in Jan of 2003. She was only 73. I think it's good to take notice of birthdays of siblings and parents; though I must admit, I do not always remember to do it.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DOROTHY! - wherever you are. I know you are at peace because I know you were at peace in life; and the way I see it, we only continue as we were wherever we go.
Nancy and me are OK. Hope you are too. We're somewhat busy planning for our upcoming CELEBRATING LIFE wedding on April 28th. Last week, we met with Nancy's pastor who will be "conducting" the affair. We plan to get together again in early March to go over things as they are at that point. Who knows how it will go; but however it goes, we will be just as happy together after it as we are before it, know what I mean?
I am very busy trying to finish my next book - IT'S A NEW DAY! What a joy that is for me! I do not want to bore anyone with details, but so much of my writing is about an old friend - Jesus. Friendships are interesting, I think, in that "old friends" see things differently sometimes, keeping in mind that even fellow friends of someone could very well see that someone in different lights. That is just way friendship is. Don't you agree? If Dorothy were alive today, I doubt that she and I would see Jesus in the same way because we did not see him in the same way when dear Dorothy was alive; but I am sure Dorothy is alive and well with her own friendship with Jesus now; and that does gladden me, know what I mean?
Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to departed sister, Dorothy!
Be in touch as you wish! I will probably be back at you in two weeks when departed Dad turns 111. We will see.
Gently,
Francis William Bessler
and Nancy Shaw
