WILD FLOWERS WEDDED!
4/30/2018

Hello, Everyone!

Well, we did it! A couple of "wild flowers" we be - or at least we think of ourselves as that. Nancy might be compared to a rose and the 76 year old kid here might be more like a dandelion - but the "rose" and the "dandelion" wedded on Saturday. Thanks to all who could come - and thanks to all who couldn't, but wish us well.

So, now it is onward with our lives - though, to be honest, nothing will change. Nancy & I have been living together as married since her former husband and my friend, Joce, passed from Parkinson's Disease at the age of 88 in early 2012. All that is different now is that we have a Certificate of Marriage whereas before we did not.

Just learned, however, that my final book - IT'S A NEW DAY! - has been completed as a Kindle book. Thus, all 8 books - and there will be no more - are ready and available via Amazon for hard copy and via Kindle for pc.

Why did I write them? I wanted to share a vision of life that is somewhat untraditional in that I believe that God exists as a Presence in All - not a Person outside of All that some might reach and others might not, if you know what I mean. For me, where we place our God is important. Having placed God INSIDE of all, that is what I offer through all my writings. So check them out as you will. OK? Just tap on the link below to review my offerings. Alright?

All is Well. Good Luck to all who gathered for our Celebrate Life Wedding. Pastor Nathan even featured a few verses from THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS. I do believe it is about time that Christian ministers all over started doing that. Leaving Thomas & Mary Magdalene out of our Christian services since The Council of Nicea in 325 has left a gaping hole in Christian vision, I think. It is so sad that even today the Christian world refuses to let Thomas & Mary - and perhaps other "strange" gospels - in. It has been like choosing some siblings of a family and ignoring other siblings of that same family and acting like it is just fine to do so.

So, thanks to Pastor Nathan for taking a chance on Thomas. Perhaps others can follow his lead. Right, Pastor Nathan?

I will leave you with the song that I wrote for my first book - WILD FLOWERS. Nancy encouraged me to make my writings available through hard copy form. That was 2014. We planned on only one book when it started, but by reaching back to the past and past writings never shared, seven additional books have followed. But like I said, there will be no more. Eight is enough! Agree?

Love To All!

Gently,

REFRAIN:

Wild Flowers - are so very pretty.

Wild Flowers - to help us see.

Wild Flowers - to inspire the soul.

Wild Flowers - to help us know.

If you want to know life,

then march up a hill.

Find a wild flower

and admire it until -

you've realized that Heaven

is where you are;

for Heaven, my friend,

is both near and far.

Refrain.

In a wild flower, my friend,

there is no sin.

Take some time to study it

and you'll always win.

Just look at it and know

it's full of majesty.

Put one in your hair

and you're a king or a queen.

Refrain.

The magic of a wild flower

is so very fine.

And where it grows,

life is so Divine.

So, consider yourself one

and love yourself in time;

and know that Eternity

is only a step behind.

Refrain (several times).
