A Brief Love Letter to Nancy
Easter Letter

Dearest Nancy,
I love you, but I always have.
My love did not start with the passing of our friend, Joce,
in 2012. It only continued from there.
When will it end?
It won't - anymore than my love for anyone I have loved in life
has ended upon some separation.
In a way, I wish we were in our 20s for the passion of the age,
but it matters not that we have passed beyond that age.
We were there in this life -
and we will probably be there again in a future life.
Whenever I see a naked body, Nancy,
I see us - the way we were -
and the way we will be again.
Never mind fretting about getting older.
It matters not because we can always "remember"
through the youth of the present.
Always & Forever - Your Will
Note:
Nancy was 79 when we became companions,
upon the passing of her husband and my friend, Joce,
who passed from life at the age of 88 on 2/29/2012.
I was 70.
At this writing, Nancy is 83; and I am 74.
