I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan

in dear ole Mexico.

I'm wondering if man will ever come to understand

how easy Life is to know.

It's not complicated - just don't overrate

a sense of community in the flow.

It's not a matter of three or four - or more -

to set your life aglow.

It's only one.  Start there for your fun.

Look at yourself - and from there, Go.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan

in a place they call Cancun.

There's lots of people here, playing about the Square,

but only some are singing a meaningful tune.

There's no meaning to life - unless we're all alike;

that's the key to finding the truth.

There's no strangers about - amidst all the shouts,

regardless of styles and perfumes.

Just be amazed - that we're all the same

as equal children of the sun and the moon.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan -

about a hundred miles from Chichen-Ista -

where ancient Mayans thrived, believed that to survive,

they had to sacrifice some of their people.

It's the same ole story - in which many find glory;

it's the way of many temples.

Sadly, each must vow - and to a choice god, bow -

to provide necessary example.

It's said, just do your part - never mind your heart -

lest your nation itself be trampled.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan -

and out there is an ocean.

People are having fun - swimming under the sun;

it's like a big vacation.

It's the way it should be - that's my belief -

all should belong to that nation.

There's no reason why - we can't survive

as one without commotion.

Just treat each the same - that's the way

of living my Yucatan notion.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan

and my vision is so clear.

Everyone's the same - that's why bright is the day;

there's no need to live in fear.

Just smile and say - Have a Happy Day -

and wipe away all of those tears.

Come along with me - and let's be free

to get drunk without a beer.

Toss away your cares, know life is fair -

and Believe that Heaven is Here.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan -

gentle from head to toe.

My arms stretch wide - as I comprise

the best that man can know.

The sky is bright.  In me is no fight

because my soul is all aglow.

The reason, my friend, is I have no sin

because God is in my growth.

There is no way - I should be ashamed

of my Yucatan soul.

I'm standing here in the sands of Yucatan

in dear ole Mexico

as the sands - between my toes commands

to know the worth of my soul.

All I need, for sure, to be free

is to know I'm equal, you know.

It's as simple as that.  Never mind the flap.

Just get lost in the flow.

You can be - just as free as me -

and play in the Yucatan Bowl.

Until next time, Adieu!
